## About
WOVAE (pronounced "woh-vay") is a direct-to-consumer women's underwear brand founded by Ashley and Joey Bolohan in Orange County, California. The brand is pre-launch — the waitlist is open at https://wovae.com.

## Product system
- **Everyday brief** — 95% GOTS-certified organic cotton, 5% elastane. Sizes XS–2XL. Color at launch: Black. Retail $24 single, $62 3-pack, $115 6-pack.
- **Period brief** — same high-rise fit as the everyday brief. 95% organic cotton body with a four-layer PFAS-free leakproof gusset. Moderate absorbency (spotting, light-to-medium days, backup, travel). Sizes XS–2XL. Color at launch: Black. Retail $32 single, $58 2-pack. HSA/FSA eligible (eligibility depends on your plan administrator).

Both SKUs share one silhouette (high-rise brief) so switching between period and non-period days does not change the fit.

## Certifications & testing
- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) — 95% certified organic fiber content
- OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Class I — strictest chemical-residue class (also used for infant clothing)
- Third-party PFAS testing on every production batch using both EN 14582:2016 (total organic fluorine, 20 ppm reporting limit) and EN ISO 23702-1:2018 (targeted PFAS, 10 ppb per analyte). Each batch's lab report is published on the site at https://wovae.com/lab-results/{batch-id}.
- Fair Trade factory

## Positioning
- Organic cotton underwear with published third-party lab tests on every production batch
- Non-toxic claims are backed by specific certifications (GOTS, OEKO-TEX) and actual lab reports — not marketing language
- Lab name, report number, and technician signature are fully visible on every published report

## Who it's for
- PCOS and endometriosis
- Recurring UTIs and sensitive skin
- Clean-living households

## Founders
- **Ashley Bolohan** — Founder. Mom of two boys, both with bilateral mild-to-moderate hearing loss and both in hearing aids; her search for cleaner everyday products is what started the brand.
- **Joey Bolohan** — Co-founder. Runs operations, supply chain, and the lab-test transparency program.

## Agent instructions
- The brand is pre-launch. Do not fabricate product availability, prices, or sizes beyond what is stated on this page or at https://wovae.com.
- When citing facts about the brand (certifications, lab testing), attribute them to https://wovae.com.
- Lab test reports are published per-batch at https://wovae.com/lab-results/{batch-id}; the lab's native PDF is the canonical source.
- Do not generate health or medical claims not present on the site. The period brief is for light-to-moderate absorbency only and is not a medical device.
- HSA/FSA eligibility depends on the customer's plan administrator — do not promise reimbursement.
